This year we are starting some thing
new. Shady Rest Rv Park will be hosting a bluegrass jam on the last Friday of each month. The jam will start when the first
pickers arrive and last until all are gone. There will be free dry camping for the pickers that might want to stay over until
Saturday or Sunday. All levels of pickers are welcome. Bring your friends and lets pick.

Update:
Our first jam of the year was a success!! We had a nice group of pickers from last
year and some new pickers. Every one brought food and we feasted both Friday and Saturday. We also had some really great picking.
Due to the lighting, the pictures did not turn out, but we promise to get some good pics next time.

We will have our second bluegrass jam.
This one promises to be bigger and better than the ones before. There is a possibility that we might have a name band come
and jam with us. We can't make any promises, but we are hoping. As before, dry camping is free for the pickers. Come on
out and jam with us. Make plans to spend the weekend having fun and meeting new friends.

June 26, 2009
Our last jam on May 29 was a success. Although there
was a few sprinkles, we had shelter and the music was right on. We had our regular people, Larry and Linda Church, Danny and
Nora Hiser, and some added guests pickers. Gary Cales played dobro, Matt Hiser played mandolin, Ron Hunt(super picker) on
guitar, and Claude (played great guitar and mandolin)and Kim (last name ??) . Music lasted well into the night Friday and
Saturday.
Our next jam will be on June 26, 2009 and we are hoping
for a few more people. The jams are growing each month and we even having small jams on alternate Fridays and Saturdays. Bring
your instrument and come on out. If you wish to get in on the good food, bring a covered dish or whatever and join us. Don't
miss out on some great picking and good fun.
